Bald Eagle update

What a year here at The Eagle!! We are so happy to be have the course back to what it once was, and have the ability to offer all of our guests a wonderful experience in Point Roberts. From a course that was closed and in disrepair to where we are now with 17 new greens, new fairways, new sand, paved cart paths, a full cart fleet and course conditions to rave about makes us very happy and proud. What also makes us happy and proud is how many of our guests tell us how happy THEY are that we are back! We love seeing the parking lot full of cars and watching people come off the course with smiles and laughter (and maybe a few less balls in their bags) after a wonderful day on the course.

We’re not ones to rest on a nice achievement however so heads up, we have a few new things we will be releasing for 2020. We encourage feedback from our guests and we (usually) listen pretty intently to it. Based on that feedback we will be doing some drainage and irrigation work this winter, some airflow and sunlight management projects, and will be offering annual passes as well as multi-round transferable packages. There will also be a few things we will try and get off the ground with regard to group play, but we will have to wait and see if that catches on.

The Eagle’s Roost restaurant will be taking a break for the winter, Nov 11 will be the last day it is open for breakfast/lunch. We will be offering cold sandwiches and hotdogs for our golfers during the winter.

Thank you for being a great supporter of the golf course and we look forward to seeing you all winter! Remember, we get 1/3 the rainfall of Vancouver so if you are looking for a golf fix this winter chances are we will have more conducive weather to let you enjoy a nice day on the links!
